| Twin Strap Sandal
These sandals were made to measure for a young lady with the condition Cerebral Palsy. As she has a tendency to drag her feet at the toes we chose a simple design with a twin VELCRO R strap, but ensured that the rear strap would hold her firmly back in the rear of the shoe thus protecting her exposed toes if she was to slide forward in the sandals. The rear strap is a VELCRO R strap through D Ring which enables a well leveraged fastening with no chance of it working loose. The strap was custom fit to fit neatly across the short heel line. The sandals also incorporate Medial Extended heel counters and a fibreboard / steel shank reinforced PORON R insole. This construction provides maximum support for this style of sandal but still retains maximum comfort due to the PORON R insole. The sandals also incorporate Extra Depth, allowing for a custom orthotic to be worn with the sandals.
